Seckel is a vigorous producing pear cultivar growing to a mature height of between 12 and 15 feet. The profusion of white flowers blooming mid spring are followed by small to medium sized yellow to bronze purple skinned fruit.
Seckel is a partially self-fertile pear. It will produce much higher yields if pollinated with Bartlett, Bosc, or Comice which bloom at the same time.
